Re: Cowboy Gear
Here's a photo of some of my cowboy gear. We always carry a bottle of Old Overholt Rye Whiskey on the chuckwagon. Old Overholt is said to have been the alcoholic beverage of choice for notables ranging from Old West gunfighters to U.S. presidents, including Doc Holliday, Johnny Ringo, Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant.

Nice photo. Mine's a loop seat saddle too. Who built yours?

That is simply a great photograph, chuckcook! The composition is outstanding and the lighting is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.

Assorted ammo, tobacco, spices, newspapers, medicine and reloading supplies, loaded on the chuckwagon! You can never tell when you might run into Comancheros, bandits or hostiles.

Re: Cowboy Gear
I really like the high back, loop seat look with oxbow stirrups! I had this one built 25 years ago by Bridger Creek Outfitters in Bozeman, Montana.RanchRoper wrote:Nice photo. Mine's a loop seat saddle too. Who built yours?

Re: Cowboy Gear
Bridger Creek built nice gear. Not sure if they are still around. Mine is a Wade but in an old time style. Had to go with a Wade tree for roping big stock.
