That is just nuts. They aren't indigenous to NZ, are they?

They look like something out of Bavaria or Great Britain :D

Don't know what JEBar is referring to by staged; the doe pic looks a little weird.

All deer in NZ were introduced and the doe can hear the shutter and just see the top of my head but is trying to work out what I am, 10 seconds later and she was gone.The stag got my wind but stopped to look back both shots have been cropped I was not that close.
