Stunning scene at Grand Teton N.P.

Post by PT7 » Sat Jul 21, 2018 12:22 am

Someone more of a professional than I took this stunning photo at the Grand Teton National Park. It "appeared" automatically today on my computer as the wallpaper behind my log on pages.
Scenic view at Grand Teton N.P..jpg
The four horses are almost as magnificent in their beauty as the fields and mountain range.
Had to post this one for others to enjoy, and breathe in the fresh air while feasting on the color and beauty! :)

I have visited purtnear' every state in my 59 years except Alaska. Been to Europe a few times and even clumb Mt. Teide in the Canary Islands. And I live in Texas and love Texas but I have always said the most drop-dead gorgeous take-you-breath-away scenery I have EVER seen has been in Wyoming. Rafting the Snake River is exhilarating beyond description and the Grand Tetons are a national treasure to be sure. Absolutely spectacular.

What are those big pointy rocks in the background? We have rocks here in the north woods, but nothing like those.

Very nice. We had horses for years... got rid of the last one a couple years after the last of the girls moved out on her own. Miss T had quit riding due to health issues after a lifetime of it. She still misses it, but the doc was firm.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Dinosaur teeth. They were big back then.

Love Wyoming. Spent time there in '83. Packed in the Tetons.
