The goat herd is down to 2. My neighbor and I decided to not raise any more babies so were going to get rid of Dad goat, he was 2 years old and was starting to get a little aggressive and destructive. A couple of weeks ago Brownie came into heat so I finally got a hold of a friend who would take Dad but unfortunately before he arrived Brownie managed to get through a weak spot in the fence between her and Dad goat and you can guess what happened next.

The adult goats can take the cold and they have a shelter but it's not totally enclosed so I'm not really set up for babies that would be born in January. The guy that took Dad has a fully enclosed shelter so we sold him Brownie also. Grandma had a hard time in the cold last Winter so she went along too.

Going to try to find someone with a gentle horse that needs some pasture next year. Luke and Leia will be able to keep the Cottonwood sprouts and weeds under control but there will be too much grass for them to keep up with.
