It is beautiful My wife and I were there 6 years ago in March. It was pretty warm temps in high 80's. Back home it was in the 30’s. It was a nice break.
I want to hike down someday.

I think there are mule rides to the bottom. That would be cool.

We took the train to the canyon. Fun but we got robbed coming back. Bunch of outlaws stopped the train and took out money. But they were polite and posed for pictures.

That Canyon train robbery reminded me of a time when as a very young "cowboy", my parents took the four of us kids to Cowboy Valley in CT. What a great day that was. They had a stagecoach ride and a staged robbery, too.Sir Henry wrote:We took the train to the canyon. Fun but we got robbed coming back. Bunch of outlaws stopped the train and took out money. Someone made a home movie of it that was posted on a CT newspaper's website with a story about it.
