I still come back and look at these pics, the scenery is beautiful. But, we have mountains and beaches and changes in scenery here in VA... so it's all good. ;)

I grew up in Sioux Falls and by the time I graduated I just wanted out of the state. I wanted bright lights and the action of the Twin Cities. What I got was Vietnam. Seems like a life time ago...oh wait, it was was. :D

It's definitely flat when you are used to living right next to the Cascades.

When I was a kid we used to drive back to North Dakota to visit relatives almost every Summer. I remember being hot and bored during the drive, no car AC back then.
