Butterflies

Post by daytime dave » Tue Sep 26, 2017 7:35 am

They were all over our flowering bush at camp this past weekend. I could not resist trying to get a good shot. These were as close as I could get.

Very nice pics Dave. It has been a while since I was able to hang out in the garden and take pics of the wildlife there, but I did catch these butterfly pics when I did. I don't know the names of the various types, never got into that and always got it wrong when I tried to name them... but I have always appreciated the beauty. Miss Tina landscaped the place and put lots of flowering bushes and plants around to insure we'd have plenty to look at. MY contribution was the choice of the various roses... have always liked them. Climbing, Bushes, Hedgerows... as long as they are roses. Left the rest up to her.

One of the local gardens has a butterfly house. Got an interesting shot there a couple years ago.
