I went back to the mountains again today to get my overworked wife out of the house. We had a great time and a nice ride. On the way back just on the west side summit of Cameron Pass there was Bullwinkle and another friend munchin on some grass close to a creek. I didnt see rocky the squirrel anywhere but Im sure he was lookin on from a nearby tree. These two

Moose were kinda cool to see in the wild. Al

Magnificent animals!

Would love to try my hand at hunting them one day – with a Henry!

Apparently they are in pretty serious decline in some areas.

These are the first ones I have seen in Colorado. I have seen them in Wyoming in my truck drivin days but not in Colorado. They were not very far from us as we pulled off the road. It was neat to see them. Al

Moose are not native to our state of Wisconsin, though we have a few. They are a protected species. Every once in awhile, one is spotted in our area. Log term outlook is not good, though. Moose need cold winters to kill off parasites and our winters, of late, have been getting milder.

Those two cartoon characters seem to be everywhere these days and are expanding their habitat like Wiley Coyote. Beep Beep.

I really liked Mr Know it all. Its a frequent phrase I use or think of when I run across one of those types of people. But Bullwinkle always cracked me up and still does to this day just thinking about it. Al
