I thought this thread of yours, RR, was the best spot for a photo I found today. This morning I was looking through one of those "Today's Pictures Around-the-World" photo collages. This was taken about 1-1/2 weeks ago by Todd Korol with Reuters. Just happens to be a beautiful outdoor and wildlife scene from your neck of the woods (I think it's beautiful). The location is a canola field in full bloom of summertime glory in rural Alberta...and I bet the deer is enjoying it.

I liked it...simple and colorful.

Hey All,

Several years ago I was at a crossroads near vermilion alberta. In one quarter was flax in bloom blue flowers. In another white flowered peas, in another green barley a grass. In the final quarter yellow flowered canola. Everything in bloom. Very beautiful every direction.

Took my pal Badger for a light ride this morning down along the railway corridor. Nice long trails mostly on grass. About an hour or so. He was in good spirits and we quite enjoyed ourselves. Nice to see him feeling better.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Maybe. We just walked this morning, didn't break a sweat. But he was his normal self, no soreness in front feet. Will check him later and see how he's doing.

All good after yesterday's little ride. Badger seems ok.
