I am not a heat and humidity guy. We don't get humid weather anyway. Hot and dry in summer. But I do lots of winter riding and it does't bother me other than creaky joints and arthritis.

RR when you are out ridin lookin for cows in Griz country can you carry your rifle with you legally?

I see I think I might have Badger packin double. 45-70 on one side and the Colt on the other. I think Griz needs a little more talkin to.

Great early winter photos, RR, of your riding country. Photo .jpg 2A and your last photo remind me of open country scenes I just saw a couple of days ago when I watched "Westward the Women," starring Robert Taylor. Of course, never had any good-looking cattle herds in that movie; only the horses and mules of the wagon train, and one pooch.

BTW, at moments the movie scenes were somewhat "lackluster" as those famous ears I see in so many of your country scenes were missing. Thanks for keeping that "star" in your photographs!
