I had to shoot ten or fifteen different pics to finally catch the wings just right, but I love the colors in this picture...

Tina used to tell her friends that I was probably losing my mind. "He sits out in the garden first thing in the morning... just him and that stupid camera." :? Then she'd laugh... and say, "But they do get some great pictures."

That is one beautiful photo. Absolutely extraordinary. And, I don't like to be picky, but no Monarch. That is a Tiger Swallowtail butterfly. I used to collect them. :D
