Great lighting coach. The sun and you are at such an angle you are getting "patch" or "Rembrandt" lighting with a "paramount" hint to it. Photographers and artist often use this type of lightning of portraits. You are getting about a 5:1 light ratio and most portraits are 3:1 but other than that you nailed it.

Thanks SH....I was floating on a water taxi in the Hudson River.

I was just snapping away with my iPhone. I took about twenty pictures while I was bobbing up and down and drifting with the current.

All the pictures I post are cell phone pics.

Cell phones are for making phone calls. Cameras are for taking pictures. :D

Nice photo. I was there in the early sixties and went up to the crown but the torch was closed. Since the rehab a few years ago ,I don't know how much access there is. I believe the Frenchman responsible for it was a brother.
