I know y'all are gonna tell me I told you so and probably thinking some other choice words to say, especially Mags, but after telling you I didn't shoot many squirrels this past season, they are doing a number on my rafters again. Want be no sitting and watching anymore. Mags, I thought about you when a couple came out from under my SUV under carport.
I'll keep mum and leave the choice words I might have to your imagination. Oh - do check the wiring and fuel line on your SUV.

We haven't been shooting them here like we did in VA, they have plenty to keep them busy AWAY from the coops, house, and barn. If they venture near off limits structures, they will join their VA relatives. One reason they stay away from the coops and barns? Too exposed. The raptors are too numerous here and very aggressive. When we were free ranging the chickens it wasn't only the coyotes that we had to worry about... "Danger from the Sky" was a concern. Now they were here, then they were gone... Swoop in and Boom... gone in a flash of wings.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Can you set a live trap and move the little buggers to a new location? Preferably one under about 12” of dirt.

If I shoot them in the yard and throw them in the woods, or if I shoot them in the woods and let them lay where they fall, they feed some other animals. They always gone next day.
