I’ve only ever seen black beards. Maybe it’s a Scottish turkey?

Saw a group of 5 long beards taking a mid day stroll through one of the fields I hunt near. If that doesn't get you excited for opening day I'm not sure what will!

I just put the turkey barrel, choke and plug in my Mossberg today, as well as digging out my decoys. I’m going to head to the shop tomorrow and get my 2019 license, and some camo wrap for my .22 so dem boids can’t see me! Our opener is Monday, but I’m going to miss the first week unfortunately.

Loaded up for the turkey trip! Basecamp and exploration beater ready to launch at 5:00 am! Hopefully I have a bird to show off when I get home this weekend...
