You're all geared up! Best of luck and keep us posted! Some of the most fun hunting there is, in my opinion!

I see you are using high brass #4's .... I'd appreciate your assessment as to the range and effectiveness of #4's

I'm looking forward to photos of a successful hunt. I've always wanted to hunt Turkeys, but likely never will; back problems limit the distance I can walk these days.

Right here in city limits. This was yesterday about 11:00 AM right outside my porch. There was a huge Tom also, but could not get him in the pic. Have seen lots of Turkeys in this region, but not 4 blocks from town.

I had 28 turkey in my front yard just about every day for a while. They know they are safe here and they get pretty comfortable. They we coming too close to the house and started getting to be a nuisance with their droppings here and there. Just when I decided I'm going to have to start running them off, they left. Never had that many and never had to run them off in over 30 years of being here. If things get bad, I'll have plenty to eat, lol.

Jim after I read your post I thought, you've shot it but never really patterned it.
So after work this afternoon I set up a target in the backyard and at 35 yds shot it and the BPS.
Well the BPS was the hands down the best.
So I guess it will be ole ugly. :o
