Got venison

Post by GunnyGene » Sun Dec 08, 2019 6:13 pm

Thought I wasn't gonna get one this year, but I tagged this doe a couple hours ago. Guessing around 130lbs. .41mag, Underwood 210 XTP from about 90yds.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Looks like a perfect shot! Hunting for meat is what it's all about and that Doe should taste great. Nice work.

Wasn't terribly difficult. I know my front yard pretty good. ;) Here's the shot from my shop (lower left) to deer down (upper right). I was off on the range a little. They had just come out of the tree line on the North.

Nicely done. Put the tenderloins to good use first! A well earned dinner.
