Some friends and I went to Minnesota last week, did a little pheasant hunting and also got a couple turkeys.

Not so much. Word must have leaked out that I was gunning for them. Nutria been keeping a very low (in hiding) profile.

Plenty of camera caught game there.
I do all my hunting on my place with a camera.

I let others do all the killin!

Season opens in a little less than a month. Can't wait to have the gang out.

Close call this past weekend, had a doe broadside at 15 yds.. arrow hit a branch and shot right under. Funny how those things disappear when you're drawn back on a deer

The one that got away does not just apply to fishing. You'll get the next one JZ.

Woke up this morning to the sound of my old Bear hunt club members heading up the mountain. Had not ridden my new 4-wheeler much yet, so, I got dressed and hopped on it. Still have my radio, so I listened and knew exactly where to find them.
One of the guys got one, but left early so he could skin it before going to work, so no pics. had fun though seeing the guys again. They are going again tomorrow and asked me to go. Would love to, but didn't figure on it this year, so no license, big game tag, or orange hat. Today, I just helped them track dogs. Had fun though! :D

Got it done on NY's opening day of gun season yesterday. Lot's of deer moving around, saw a bigger buck than this guy but couldn't get a good shot at him. Got to christen the .44 carbine with its first kill (in my hands). Overall very happy with the results!
