I had seen that video before. I like his videos and have watched quite a few of his. He has tested quite a few Henrys and really speaks highly of the company.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Holy cow! It was like he had to wait for the smoke to clear from his first shot with that Snyder (sp?) before he could take the 2nd shot.

Great video, thanks very much for sharing!

Found this on you tube. I've watched a lot of his Vids... Usually very good.
Enjoy.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Thanks for the post, Marine. I've seen part 1 of this series before; it was very good, and my first view of part 2 was even better.

Well, Folk, he's rating the Henry .30-30 with a little "flapping of the hand." That's okay. It still is an excellent deer-hunting Henry rifle caliber. I agree that he finally said "don't put them away." ;)

For me, a shotgun using slugs is the best. But as I've sent hundreds of 1 oz. and 1-1/8 oz. slugs downrange, I would definitely not use a lightweight $100 single shot. The Benelli Nova 12-ga Pump I used was heavy with a most functional recoil suppressor I installed in the stock. Yeah, it smartly kicked, but was very manageable.

His Brenneke slug ammo choice is top-notch for hunting. I've not used the 1-3/8 oz. "Black Magic" he shot. Probably was telling the truth when he said it was a "mean" slug. I used the Brenneke 12ga "Green Lightning" 546gr magnum slug, a less powerful design. It is hard to miss at 50 yards, and easily almost overturns a steel rectangle mounted on a 4"-square post.

That's just a quick jog through those s/g days I experienced. Great long gun and ammo for deer hunting.
This Iraqveteran8888 video series was well-done and a worthwhile viewing. 👍

Great series. First time I'd seen Part 2 as well.

"Fud-Mart." Hilarious.

I am an advocate of challenge. I know this is a " Henry " forum, however, in terms of a good brush gun, although my Henry 357 always goes up the mountain with me..my " Brush Gun ", if needed, is my accurate side arm. Most every situation I've ever encountered, I could get the job done with one of my revolvers. Most shot opportunities have almost always been within that range. Love shooting my rifles w/o a doubt, but in my neck of the woods...enough said. Sorry...just reality here.

I put a riding mower out of my misery with a Green Lightning a few years ago.
