Well the thread that ozarkhunter started got me thinking about Turkey season.
And put this in the Big game section because here that's how they are classified.
Thought I would see how many here chase 'em.
Started gathering some stuff.

I have a turkey thread going in the Small Game section. Compared to moose, elk etc, they are small:)

Yes they are, but here that's how their classified.
You have to have a Big Game stamp along with a reg hunt and fish license.
That is unless you hunt on your own property as I do.
Then no license or stamp is necessary.

Oh yea, I even posted in it  .

Our turkey population here in AR took a nose dive about 12-15 years ago. We started noticing more frequent feral hog sign about the same time, and in the same areas that used to hold good populations of turkeys. Last fall during deer season, I saw several hens and poults near where I deer hunt. Within a couple of miles, I saw another flock of more mature birds during our muzzle loading deer season. I haven't made it back out that way since deer season ended, but was really happy to see birds making a comeback.

We don’t have feral pigs here, but I would definitely hunt them if we did.

One more week, juvenile is this weekend.
Got 3 grandsons, but they's only 2, 3, and 4.
The oldest may be here before season ends,
may see but he's probably not gonna be quite enough.
