MO Deer Cam

Post by ESquared » Fri Jul 27, 2018 2:11 pm

Deer.JPG
My son's father-in-law, who's hosting me at my first deer camp this fall, sent me this from one of his trail cams. I'm no complete rookie to deer, but he claims this is a 9-pointer, not 8. Is that because of a small double on the left side (of the deer, right side of the pic)?

Anyway, he was pretty pumped to send this along. Should be pretty big come the middle of November...

As you probably already know, your photo is missing. Please try again. I'd love to see it.

Hadn't seen this blown up version until now. Doe in the background, too!

I would say he is counting the double as two. Around here the brow tines also count. That is a nice one no matter how you count the points.
