Thanks, I'll definitely check that out. I like hunting with the rifle a lot more than the shotgun for accuracy, but I like the thump that 1 oz. slug provides.

At 200lbs I'm guessin he had a good layer of fat? Sometimes on smaller exit holes that fat will seal the hole and his cavity will fill with blood rather than trickle out. If you hit the heart the exit was low enough he should have started leavin a trail almost immediately. Congrats by the way! Nice lookin buck!
