Another Buck

Post by Deadwood Dutch » Sat Nov 12, 2016 7:10 pm

My 14 year old grandson shot his second buck this morning in Western Maryland. He shot his first one last year in the same neck of the woods using his Remington model 700 .243 with 100 grain Remington Corelokt. He got it with one shot from his tree stand. Now, you know I don't like to brag, but I taught him to shoot with his scope and how to zero it. :D Image

Another great photo....and harvest, too! Two years in a row is excellent, Dutch. He had a great teacher.

We're always glad to have proud Grandpas on the forum. And the bragging rights come right along with the harvest. ;)

Great job!! I'm 50 now but I can remember back to those days and several of my early harvest. There's nothing that compares to that feeling.

I remember the picture from last year. He looks a year older. You aren't bragging -just stating the facts. :D

Tell him well done. That's what this is all about, passing down our experiences and knowledge to our children and grandchildren. And to you Dutch, job well done for passing it on.
