Well, I'v done it again

Got my second deer for the season.
Good morning, it was 31° here this AM. I had another good afternoon yesterday. I got #2 buck for the season. This is a bit better specimen 😉
He stepped out of the woods around 170-175 yds. Right behind a doe, if you look at the one photo, the white spot where the barrel is pointed is him.
Propped on one of the hand grips of the 4-wheeler. One shot, and he dropped on the spot. He was quartering towards me. Put a 143gr ELD-× from a cheap Savage Axis 6.5 Creed :o ;) right through that left front shoulder. He toppled like one of the twin towers.
Inside spread is 15", just guessing I'd say 165-170 lb animal.

:D Lots of positives there, nice buck, good shooting and some great photography for us. Your picture with the buck on the ground in the distance brings the whole story into perspective.

Nicely done again, Randy!!!! That's another very nice buck, Sir!!!

Man, do I ever envy y'all in some of the other states getting multiple tags! I envy even more they guys that fill them tags, hee hee.....

We only can get one buck tag here in Oregon, and if we're very lucky (as in, hit 5 of 6 lottery numbers..... :) ), maybe a tag for a Doe.

Not that it really even matters, I suppose. :( I'm pretty sure the OR Dept. of Fish and Wildlife quit making deer and elk. Possibly something to do with the Supply Chain, I've heard........

Again, Great Work there, Vaquero!!!

Good job. Nice buck! Should be no shortage of deer meat at your house this year. Our gun season opens next saturday and these pics fire me up.
