I realize that's some mossy knee bucklein country yer in biglever and ya got some miles on them knees, but if you boned em out you could probably make it out in a couple 40lb packs. It's been a long time since I've brought bones, besides antlers out. Back in my mid 30's I boned a cow elk out and squeezed it into 1 150lb pack and bought ran by two guys draggin a two point buck! I had to giggle a bit as I went by! I don't have those young legs anymore but I've got horses and mules and their legs are stronger than mine ever were! The gutless method is on you tube if yer interested. I still go in after the heart and liver when I know they're undamaged. You'll be surprised how quick you get at it (including bonein em out) after a couple. I can have an elk boned and sacked in under 2hrs alone. Good luck this fall!
