There was a DJ when I was a kid who broadcast from the wired woodshed. I just got an internet connection in my barn, not the woodshed. I hooked up an extender outside as the barn is a good 35 to 50 yards from the house and the router is on the other side of a cement wall on the far side of the house. None the less, I have better signal from the house than the extender, so I'm going with it.
We shall see how it goes.

Re: Wired woodshed
There was a guy in the neighborhood that broadcast a radio signal. He played mostly blues and jazz during the day. I guess it was such a low signal that the FCC didn't care. I'm sure the range didn't cover much distance. I think he must have passed or moved because it stopped a few years back.
