Finally got an older 106

Post by daytime dave » Tue Nov 08, 2016 6:01 am

I had always wanted a 106 hunter's axe to fill the void in my display case. It didn't have to be pristine or new in the box. I was looking for one at a reasonable cost. I found one in the classifieds on Blade Forums. The seller was a great guy who I hadn't met yet on that forum. I was very happy with what I got.

The original box with a price tag, original receipt, the Buck paper it was wrapped in and all the papers included at the time from the factory. Oh yes, the 106 and leather sheath too! :D

Looks very close to new...and really like that black sheath with the silver clasp.
I'd say your "find" is spot-on, Dave. Fits into your collection perfectly.

Very cool that the receipt was included along with original packaging. September 1988, back when people bought things in person and someone had to 'write up' a receipt!
