At first glance, I would have sworn, Buck 110, until I saw the blade markings. 8-)

That Puma has skinned a deer or 2 and been a great knife. It holds a good edge.

I have a heck of a time bringing my Buck back to a decent edge. Does the Puma German steel come back to a good edge fairly quick?

Stray Cat its been so long since I used that knife I dont remember. But I don know this it holds a good edge along time. Ive now gone to one of those knives with the changeable blades that are razor sharp.

Thanks Al. My grandpa could put an edge on a steel fence post. He could work the blade for 5 minutes and shave hair off his arm.
I suspect a lot had to do with the blade's steel, his stone, and his finesse for holding the blade at the proper angle to the stone.
Some how, the knife sharpening gene wasn't passed on to me.
