Bought a "new" saamiknife
Today I won an auction of a knife made by Torgny Odén who is a Swedish northen blacksmith forging his own blades and making custom knifes with saamiculture. I just fell in love with it and started bidding and won. Amazing craftmanship cant even imagine the hours and skill required to accomplish knifes/blades like this. Just wanted to show a beautiful knife. Here is an article about Torgny: https://gearjunkie.com/swedish-knife-maker-torgny-oden

Very nice knife and sheath. Is there a reason the sheath has a curved bottom since the blade is straight? Just wondering.

Knives, guns and flashlights. If I was rich I'd need a whole room just to keep them all in.RanchRoper wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 4:31 pmDon't ya just love knives?...that's a nice one for sure.

Got my knife by the mail today and its beautiful its a work of art. The blade is robust and sharp. Really love this knife, really happy with it and money well spent, even my girlfriend think so I just let the pictures do the talking.

Sweet. I love the scrimshaw on the sheath.
