Never leave home without my leatherman wave regardless of if I am working in the shop, poking about the farm or just out and about.
It wouldn't be my first choice knife for any cutting job but a multi tool is that handy that I haven't been without one for the last 20years so it gets put to work for any cutting job I have.
It has been pushed into service field dressing 400lb deer when it was realised we were without a knife but my favourite was delivering this pair by caesarean.

Wow! I was just watching "Midsommer Murders" and the killer was using my every day carry, a #4 or #5 Opinel . Could tell by the handle. Way cool ( I think )!

BUCK 113 Ranger Skinner. This one was my favorite FIXED blade knife from the beginning (Several years ago.) for a smaller blade knife and it STILL is right now.
It is my daily carry knife in my purse, fanny pack, around the house, etc.
I am still impressed with this BUCK knife and I still only own, use and carry fixed blade knives now.
I still love and enjoy using my BUCK (Idaho-USA) and my Ka-Bar (New York-USA) knives.
My husband has picked up a few other fixed blade (NIB) knives for me or us to use too.
MORA - Sweden. I don't know their model numbers right off the bat. Sorry! He sees something that he thinks that I might like in a sealed package and brings it home to me! So he and I have 2 matching Mora knives (In the house and in his truck.) and I have 2 other Mora knives - different models.
THIS is the LINK for my BUCK knife listed on top but I got mine at Cabela's or SW out here in person. I wanted to TRY it out in my hand first before I made my final decision. My cost was not what is listed on the BUCK website now.

A man, without force, is without the essential dignity of humanity. Human nature is so constituted, that it cannot honor a helpless man, although it can pity him; and even this it cannot do long, if the signs of power do not arise.
