It's amazing how much the balance affects the end product. Some look really nice but when they test them, they don't handle very well.

in tonight's episode to qualify for the finals the contestants have to make 2 push knives .... the finalists will then have to make a Katzbalger ... :P

good show tonight .... finally a blade I've heard of, a Calvary Sword .... it was interesting to watch the bladesmiths forge them

in tonight's show they had to forge a Karambit in order to get into the finals .... yep, another blade I've never heard of .... http://www.karambit.com/karambit-knife-overview-basics/.... then the finalists had to make a Makraka .... well, at least I'd seen one of these but sure had no clue about matching a name to the shape .... http://deadliestwarrior.wikia.com/wiki/Makraka.... good show, I enjoyed it
