Pawn shop Remington knife

Post by bandit1250 » Mon May 23, 2016 5:47 pm

I bought a Remington knife at the pawn shop a couple weeks back and they had another one there that had some rust on the blade. These knives are USA made. I believe they are Madison, N.C. They are called "Riders of the Silver Screen." The first one was Roy Rodgers and the other was "The Lone Ranger." They still had it today when I stopped in after detailing a motor cycle and they wanted $20 and I offered $15 OTD and they took it. I got some of the rust off and may soak the blade in PB Blaster or some Kroil and see if it helps. Then I will use some very fine bronze wool on it. If it doesn't help it I have a cheap American made carry knife.

That's what I keep telling her.

That's a great knife bandit. I'd say you now have two great Remington's. Very good score on the two of them. We need a group shot now.
