Really great shooting to both you guys. The JSB exact have the "exact" same shape as the H&N Field TTs (4.5) that I am having great luck with.
NCG correct me if I'm wrong, but no doubt those Benjamin pellets are made by one of the big guys, and branded Benjamin?
In any case, I remember you favor the domed pellets at distances beyond 20yds, or so.

Hey Mark, remember there are guys here with 45-70s $$$$$$$$$$$$markiver54 wrote:Wow!..pricey, Amazon $24.49...Pyramid air...$18.99, before shipping..
I buy from Pyramid. Put in an order every couple of months that covers the minimum free shipping. Also I like there bonus points, or whatever.

Thanks Henry88. Nope, don't have those kind of$$$$ .I did see the H&N on line. Don't remember right now, but I think they were more affordable.Henry88 wrote:Hey Mark, remember there are guys here with 45-70s $$$$$$$$$$$$markiver54 wrote:Wow!..pricey, Amazon $24.49...Pyramid air...$18.99, before shipping..

When I went to Pyramid, it appeared one has to sign in and create a pass word. Got too many of those to remember already. Also, looked like you have to go the Pay Pal route....dunno, did I mis-read or not?

Benjamin has been a division of Crosman since the early 90s, so basically Benjamin pellets are a type of Crosman pellet. Not that Crosman pellets are bad, by any means. Some of them are quite good, namely, the Premier Domed (though no longer made in 20 cal). As mentioned, though, my best accuracy has been with the JSBs. Yeah, they are expensive, as pellets go, but still cheaper than your average 22 LR ammo.

Mark, I'm shooting the 4.5(.177) pellets, but they are H&N Field Target Trophies @ 8.64gmarkiver54 wrote:Oh...what grain H&N are you having good results with?
I think what matters regardless of caliber, and what I believe I've heard NCG say, is she likes the JSB or H&N domed pellets.
In some cases, you can even get them in different head diameters to really dial them in for your gun.

Oh, yeah, air rifles can be just as fussy about what you feed them as any powder burning gun.
