That would be the same. Just not familiar with that scope. Maybe give it a try and see it looks like when you get it. Im sure you could return it as long as it isnt mounted if you dont like it.markiver54 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 7:21 pmThe Athlon has an additional turret on the right side, which is, Adjustable parallax. Is that not the same as AO ? I guess I'm still a bit confused on this issue. Only one of my other rifles sports a scope which might help explain my lack of knowledge regarding scopes. My BBS357 sports a simple Weaver 1-3x20. Not much there..but I like it on that rifle.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Airgun scope
As Al says, a side focus is also a parallax adjustment feature. Do check, though, how close any particular scope with either an SF or AO will focus. A lot of SF scopes do not focus as close as 10 meters and that's really what you want for typical air gun shooting being under 50 yards.

Re: Airgun scope
Thank you both again.
Good point Al. Maybe I should order and see how it looks. I did see it on Amazon. I know I could return it to them if necessary. Probably easier than AOA.
NCG...It does say that it can be adjusted to a minimum of 10 yds.
Again, this scope is what the salesman from AOA who sold me my rifle recommended, and I had made no mention of price being an issue.
