Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Have never tried a compressor, Gene. I do know that the small mobile units are for filling guns, directly. Thet don't have the power to fill scuba tanks. Would make a nice item to take to the range with you for refills, though.

The pumps I have looked at will go both ways 110 and 12 volt. They run 5 to 700 depending on the brand.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 8:26 pmThanks. Re: Umarex Origin
I looked at the link you supplied and the Crosman site. That is a pretty complete kit. The electric pump would be a plus if you didn't want to pump it yourself. I would personally wait for the Walther-Lothar barrel, but I have no complaints with my Marauders accuracy. I say go with .22 if you are going to pop a garden nuisance once in a while. I find a big difference. I hunt with my air rifles so most of them are .22 caliber. The .177 are more for fun.
I looked at the electric pump and couldn't tell if it was also 110v. It says on the Crosman site, uses a 12v battery. I'd give Crosman a call to find out.
1-800-7AIRGUN or 1-800-724-7486. Their direct number is 585-657-6161.
Good luck.

Re: Umarex Origin
I'm with Dave on the LW barrels. Crosman barrels can be a red crap shoot in the accuracy department. I'v had some that are superb, a lot of middling and few pretty bad. LW barrels are the standard of accuracy in the air gun world. Well worth spending the extra.
