Anybody reloading 44-40?

Post by brm4450 » Sat May 02, 2020 4:24 pm

Because of Covid-19 social distancing I find myself doing jobs I haven’t done for a while, I was cleaning out a storage cabinet of mine and found these.

They’ve been shot once, I guess I kept them because of JW and they look pretty, probably why I didn’t throw them out. Anybody want them I’ll send them to you just pay postage. If interested just pm.

I almost bought my 1860 in 44-40 but the lack of available factory ammo was what turned me to 45 Colt. I did not reload at the time or might have stuck with the 44-40.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I am at the point where I will just wait for it. I am too stubborn to quit even though a part of me wants to just buy something else. I will contact the guy again this week for any updates. I think it will be worth the wait.

Actually I just found 2 full boxes of those JW loads, I should clean out cabinets more often.
