My first .357 Mag 180 load....

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Jan 21, 2020 1:58 pm

First one out the press. COL came out at 1.587 and loaded over 11.5 of 2400.
Bullets check out on heavy side at 186-187 gr.

Now if I only had the CCH BB .357 rifle in hand as it might be end of this week or possibly mid next week before it arrives.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

It's 35° at the moment and feels like 30, with lots of Sunshine.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Loading the last of my 180's I have and some more .45 Colt. Believe me guys, I am glad these 180's happened. Those bullets are a whole different animal in a .357 lever gun. They seem to be more accurate than 158's, and that is hard to do, hit whatever they hit with authority and were new to me. Back to the bench. Then, Making homemade enchilada's for dinner! With a beer or two of course.

Can't wait to try them out! I know a 180 gr. bullet in .44 Mag makes a great vaporizer on small targets!
