Thanks for trying them! They might not expand and seal chamber though.
Going to be a while before I can get to the range. It was fairly wet down there the other day and we have had another inch of rain!

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Yea so do I since I am looking at getting a mold to cast my own. I'll know in a couple shots.
Great Plains HB were delivering ragged, one hole at 50 yards so ANY bullet has a lot to 'live up' to.
The only variable is I am out of Pyrodex and will be using 'real' black powder and I was getting the great results with the Pyrodex but we shall see what happens.
I'll probably go for the 415 grain hollow base mold regardless as the bullet weight is the closest to the Great Plains Bullets (425 gr.) and I agree with the concept of the hollow base.

Well have some nice shiny clean .45 Colt brass to look at! Waiting on more Starline 357 brass to finish up more 180 loads.

Forty, raining pretty good here this morning, but
I did step out on the porch a few mins ago, and
slung 3 of those 8.5 loads at the 8" gong, 2 touching and the other maybe a couple inches to the right.
That could be the operator though, and no blow back.
If and when the rain slacks off I'll get some on paper.

I went to my bench and was pulling some 41 mag bullets because I dont have any empty brass. I was wanting to load some to test. After pulling a few and opening up one of my 41 mag containers that I store loaded rounds in I discovered I had some already loaded at that load I was wanting to test. The 41 has been sleepin way to long.

I need to get back to that one myself, but that dang Cowboy has really been stealing the show of late.
It and that danged 357, guess I need to shove them in the back of the safe for a while where they're out of sight.
