No Scope on my 41BBS. Just 67 yr old eyes and iron sights. Gonna use irons as long as I can.
Put a scope on mine for some load development that I never finished,
but I did hunt with it some. Not that we ever saw anything while we were together.

Like you I have a variety of 41 stuff lying around, but the Henry hasn't seen the first jacketed bullet since it left the factory. :)
As for iron sights I like the irons on my357 Rossi way better then my 44BBB, but I still enjoy shootin it. ;)

Ive really wanted a 41 carbine in your favorite receiver. Brass. But never pulled the trigger on one hoping there would be a 41 in CCH. The future for me holds alot more 41 mag shooting. I just like that caliber

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

It was the caliber that got me into reloading, I like it quite a bit myself.
And the BBS is such a dream to shoot.

Lol Al, I don't mind the Brass so much, but them God awful stocks they put on the SG's.
But a 16.5" barreled carbine in 41 would be nice, and be a dandy truck gun. ;)

Riflewife has the day off, so we're having lunch later, then house loafing. I KNOW she'll take a nap later, then it's out to the reloading area. Need to tidy it up somewhat and re-arrange a few things. Then tomorrow, handload.

Al, do you have a .45 Colt load using 250gr rnfp and 2400? Thanks.
Maybe I can be of help. I have loaded Hornady 250 gr. XTP bullets with 20 gr. of 2400 and shoot them in my Ruger Alaskan.
I get 1100 FPS out of the 2.5 inch barrel and are fairly accurate for it's intended use.

250 gr. XTP/2400 bullet test. https://youtu.be/YtW3Dyzs1GI
Great video! That is one of my favorite .45 Colt loads for revolver and rifle.

Seating the case on the edge of the lube ring, oal 1.59 same as my 357 load.
Posted some results of it in the, thoughts on the MB 357 180gr bullet thread.

Going to load up some 25-06 with 115 gr bullets this morning. Shot all 50 I had loaded Monday shooting with JeBar. Also going to replenish my .357 pistol rounds.

Today I bought bullets primers and powder. Then I tried to figure out how to adjust the expander die and the seater/crimper die. The expander die was fairly easy. When I looked at the instructions for the cimp/seater, I hit a snag. I don't have a round to copy to set the crimping die. I stopped right there.
