RifleTom Heads to the Desert!

Post by ESquared » Sat Jan 04, 2020 2:05 pm

Tom asked me to post these for him, as he's had great luck with MBC RNFP (Coated/HyTek) 180 Gr .357s, pushed by 11.5 gr of 2400. Great looking set-up and even better results. I'll let him fill in the details...
Nice shootin', T!

Hey, that was fast! Thanks a ton Evan. Those 180 loads worked better than I could have imagined. Between those and the 158's, I have two really good loads for my Henry. Now to test the Leupold on the .45 Colt. Thanks again Evan. Fun times.

100 yards? Good job shooting. Nice spotting scope by the way.

Ha! No, 50 yards. Lots of bullet drop at 100 yards. Had to hold over about 2 feet to try and hit some busted clays at the far berm.
The spotting scope a Meade "Wilderness" 15-45x65 I bought on clearance 3 years ago. It works well for my purposes. Thanks.
