Going to call my gunsmith today and see where he is on mine.
The barrel on mine was crap, having it swapped out with a newer one.

Marlin 1894CL 25-20
Ammo is scares and extremely expensive. Can't order online in California'
The LGS had a brick that I've started buying into.
86 gr Remington sp Core-lock.
Went to the range for a quick shoot.
Was already sited in pretty mush. Just adjusting the elevation.
The WAK of the chicken and pig swingers was very satisfying.
The rifle is light with the sporter barrel.
I got some used brass from a fella.
Bought Lyman dies and a headspace gauge.
Bought some 86g coated bullets from Missouri Bullet Works.
Resized the bought brass and working with Lyman and Hodgdon data, made up some ammo Using Traiboss and H4198.
Expect about 1000+ fps with the TB and 1400-1500 with the H4198. These are medium pressure loads.
The Lyman die set has a Neck Expanding M die. First time for me using that. A mandrel expands the whole neck and bells the rim.
There is a Mountain Man Reenactment happening at the Club Range this week.
I'll have to wait till next week to try them out.

I reload for my Marlin 1894 25-20Win Takedown. Projectiles are spotty to find. I bought a bag of 500 32-20 brass to resize down to 25-20.
ATM using Speer#15 Data - 75gn SPFN Speer #1237 bullets with 7.9gn H110 approx. 1650fps.

Nice Take Down!
Picked up 100 cases on the internet. Buying a couple cases of Reminton 85 grain Cor-lock every month for case stock.
Bought 500 Missouri Bullet Company 86 grain coated 25-20 to reload.
So far I've tried H4195 and Trailboss.
Got a H110 and some increased H4198 loads to try this week.

Shot mine weekend before last I wasn't overly impressed with it.
Thinking/hoping it just needs more through cleaning.

Especially with the money I spent on another one barrel and having it installed.
