Interesting thread. We will all have to face non lead bullets eventually. It's a good time to learn what works and what doesn't.

This is what I did in Ca. when the state started talking of all out ban on lead for hunting. That very thing started here 7/1/2019. STATEWIDE. Target practice with lead fine. For now. I simply threw in the towel and only chase upland birds.
Some here, mostly in Idaho. Back on topic, sorry, the Barnes TTSX bullets I've tied are fantastic shooters. It's Ca regs I gave up on.

for 44 Mag Barns has an XPB line ===> https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/ ... t-20-count .... they are a bit cheaper than some of the others mentioned in this thread .... Barnes does make some good bullets
