We gotta get Badger his own account here. I am sure he would have some neigh...borly comments
Not to mention the insights into his buddy.

RR, that picture you put up yesterday was classic. That horse without doubt, has a personality.
Loadin' more .45 Colt here. My standard: 250gr LRNFP, 8.0gr Unique and Starline brass. It's a good day.

Re: RR's favorite caliber
Well, I got those 90+ cases loaded today, was rainy and cool.
So like RR said good day to be at the bench.
A buddy of mine gave me some 45's back in Nov. said they were 200 gr. swc's, but when I weighed 'em they were like 189-190.
So I loaded 30 of those, & 30 of some 200 gr,RFN and another 30 255 gr. RFN, all with 9.4 grs. of Unique.
Maybe get to play some this weekend I don't know.

I got 50 rounds completed today. Ran out of time doing other things. I don't usually reload in the evenings, I'm a morning guy.

Don't know yet, will let you know later.Rifletom wrote:Vaquero, how do you like that 9.4gr Unique? Revolver? Thanks.
I know the Marlin Cowboy shoots them well.
I will put some of these through the two Rugers,
I also have a BH convertible, I will post results when I get to the range.
Pretty windy here today, but I plan on tryin after while.
I don't expect it to be a big deal though, as I have a load for the 44 Vaquero that is,
A 240 gr cast over a 10.0 grs of Unique.
ALso took a small buck a few years ago with said Pistol and load.
