store lubricated bullet long time ?

185 molded lead bullets in hardness 15 brinell
is it possible to keep the lubricated bullets for a long time in a sealed pot ? or is it better to lubricate and recalibrate them just before reloading?

it would be more convenient to prepare them in advance ... that they are ready to be seated in case ....

What do you think about that ?
see you soon

first, that is one impressive set of fine looking bullets .... bulk packed, lubed commercial bullets often sit in boxes for months, if not years, waiting to be loaded .... it wouldn't hurt to wait until just before loading them but I don't tend to believe that its necessary

Nice lookin boolits, what caliber?
I powder coat all my cast these days.
I never liked lubing bullets, so when I discovered powdering,
I've not touched a lube pan ever again.

Very nice looking .45-70 bullets you have cast! That's one part of reloading I haven't ventured into.

Most commercial bullets are lubed with quite hard lubes that tend to have higher melting points that are better for long term storage.
One of the big advantages of coated bullets is how easy and well they store for longer periods.

Depends on were and how you store them.
They can't be tumbling together. They would need to be stored in some orderly fashion. In a some what controlled/stabilized envirtonment. No high highs or low lows.
I could store quite a few in a spot in my wine cabinet.

I used to cast those bullets they are great, for lube I just rolled them in Alix and allowed them to dry, never had any problems and no leading
