Universal is also known as Clays Universal. There are three blends of Clays, Universal being one. The other two are Clays and Clays International.
This is the link to the Clays information, but Hodgdon makes visitors agree to terms before letting them into the site and you will probably be re-directed to their Home Page. Just type Clays into the Search Box and you will be directed here: https://www.hodgdon.com/products/smokel ... ys-family/

Re: RanchRoper's Reloading Ruminations
I just scored the last 4lb jug of Universal I could find online in Canada....on it's way to me!
Tomorrow I will order another couple of bags of 200 gr lead projectiles....500 per bag. Should fix me up for awhile. Got tons of brass and lots of primers still.

Good on you!I just scored the last 4lb jug of Universal I could find online in Canada....on it's way to me!
I keep looking at an 8 lb jug of Unique setting on my LGS shelf - but I am still on the long side of an 8 pounder I already have and am 'kind of' planning on eventually gravitating away from Unique to an equivalent, but different brand of powder such as RamShot.

Re: RanchRoper's Reloading Ruminations
I bought a 4 lb jug this time last year and still have about a half lb left. Plus I have a 1 lb jug unopened. So the extra 4 lbs coming will do me awhile. Glad to find some more. Never know when stuff might dry up here in gun-unfriendly land.

Re: RanchRoper's Reloading Ruminations
I'm just curious. Is a HAZMAT fee or something similar applied to shipments of primers and powder in Canada?
