357 110 Gr Plinkers (Cont'd)

Post by ESquared » Fri Jan 11, 2019 4:34 pm

Just one target from yesterday, with a very small sample size. 9.5 gr Unique/110 gr XTP in the BBS. Getting used to a new rear bag. The encouraging things about these groups are to be found in the Upper Right and Center target. Both have a "snowman," where two landed nearly on top of one another. In the Upper Right, it's right on the bullseye and in the center target, the shots are even closer together just below the bull, where the snowman is lying sideways.
Again, small sample size, but encouraging enough that I'm going to load up some more over the weekend and get serious next time out.
Getting there!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thanks, RR! High praise, coming from you! Even with the scope, I can't see the holes in the paper after each shot, but at least I have a pretty good idea of my POA!
Just need to buckle down and do my part, take my time, BREATHE and make 'em count!
I also read recently an article that argued in favor of shooting 10-shot groups as a better indicator of "how it was going." Maybe that theory was developed by the Ammo people!?
