for someone who wants/needs any of those old manuals, that would be a great deal .... when it comes to jacketed bullets, I only use ones made by Nosler ..... they don't offer a 30 caliber bullet so they don't offer any reloading data for one that can be used in an old 30 Luger .... the few other brand manuals I have don't have a listing for a 100 gr bullet .... I have a couple that have listing for 90+ gr which I can probably make work if I have to .... thanks for the offer, its a mighty attractive on

I get a copy of "one book, one caliber" from Loadbooks USA, for every caliber I reload.
Usually under $10.00 and they list loading data from bullet and powder manufactures for that caliber.
Cables, Amazon, sell them sometime I see them a other stores.

Great for comparing load info across the board.

Missed the Luger part. 30 cal and 100 grain Speer Plinker grabbed my attention.
Got 30-30 on the brain.
That's a cool pistol from your Father. Looking forward to watching your reloading experience with it.

My 44th edition of Lyman Reloading Handbook shows three loads for the .30 Luger with a 93 grain jacketed bullet.
3.5 - 4.0 grains of Bullseye
3.9 - 4.3 grains of Red Dot
4.4 - 5.0 grains of Unique.
'Interpolating' the data for a 100 grain bullet is a no-brainer.

thanks, I have that manual and will probably doing just that .... when it comes to reloading, I don't tend to like to be very innovative .... rather so long as it is possible to do so, I prefer to settle on a recommendation from an established source

FOUND IT .. :D .. https://www.speer-ammo.com/downloads/sp ... un_100.pdf .... have to admit that it took a good bit longer to find than I figured it would .... with the price of the 100 grain'ers shown in the link to Natchez and small powder charges, it should be relatively cheap to fire .... the RCBS dies and Lee factory crimp arrived today .... brass was shipped today and should be here within a few days .... looking forward to packing some ammo and taking her out again ... thanks to those who took the time to try and help

Uh, you started off mentioning loads for .30 Luger - then ended up with .30 carbine data - please make sure you are looking at the correct data...
