Anyone using Tite-Group.
Too cold here to do much outside for a week or so longer. Might as well do some loading.
Just realized I'm low on Trail Boss. Gun show at the end of the month so I'll get some more.
I have an unopened bottle of Tite-Group I got a while back. It's supposed to be good for light loads in pistol cartridges. i have read that it can get wonky at max loads in big rounds.
I have a ton of 44 special brass. so I think I'll try to load some of these up with Tite-Group.
Is anyone here using this is 44 spl or 44 mag?

I've used TG in 9mm and .38 special. It is a good powder for some things. You have to be careful with it because it uses small amounts and doesn't get along well with even modest over max throws. It does well in 9mm at lower target loads. It will often often cycle the slide reliably at start loads, when other powders won't. Obviously that is not a factor with 44. I much prefer medium speed powders, like Universal.
If it was all I had, I would probably try it. Just be careful not to load over max, or double throw.

Thanks. I'm used to low fill Unique so that's kinda normal for me. I won't get near max load. I've read some bad stuff about that.

I’ve used it in .38 special target loads, and it works fine. I got some pretty accurate had loads using TG. Burned a bit dirty, but otherwise, no complaints at all.

I use it to load 357mag and 38 specials. No problems and good accuracy.

Can't help with .44 info but I do use it in 9mm,.40s/w,.45acp and .45colt. No problems. You do get the titegroup black stain on the cases though. I have a pretty stout load for .45 colt with 250 gr,XTPs that is real accurate out of my Blackhawk and Henry Steel.
