What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
As soon as I heard that gun sales were through the roof here locally I knew it wouldnt be long before all of the reloading supplies would also get hit hard. Glad I ordered a few when I did.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Ditto that Al. I'm setting pretty good, except the store I'm supposed to pick-up Missouri 180's is closed possibly thru April. Dang! Everything else, doing fine. It's getting tougher and tougher to get out and shoot. Or anything else for that matter. Oh well, chin up and do what we can.

just ordered 7 Hornday shell holders to cover all of the types of bullets I may want to reload with the portable setup we are trying to get together .... also ordered a replacement 45-70 specific manual and a second RCBS Hand Priming Tool .... with this order I'm starting to put together a small kit of reloading equipment to use with our portable setup

This morning I loaded 17 rds of 45 acp with the 200 gr bullets from Missouri Bullet co, with 5.0 grs of titegroup.
Dropped one in the chamber and loaded the 2 mags and me and the RI went out back.
Rang the heck out of the gongs, and all went flawlessly.
So I loaded another 100 for now.
Also loaded some 250 gr 45 colts to test later.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Went to all my regular outlets for bullet & powder, zilch. Did find one box of Hornady XTP 147 gr. 9mm, which I wasn't loading, but got it anyway, not a big deal. No IMR4198 to be had, so I scrounged around on the 'net & found some at Brownells. Got 2 lbs. Had to bite the bullet ( pun ), & pay the Hazmat crap.
On a side note, I went to Academy Sports, they were only allowing two people in at one time. 2 in, 2 out.

Glad I stocked up too. Powder seems to be selling out. I will have lots of 200 gr lead. 7.0 gn of Universal with these makes a real nice punchy 45 Colt round in rifle or pistol.
