Traded the Goldwing

Post by Shakey Jake » Wed Jul 08, 2020 3:33 pm

I didn't really need to but just thought I'd try something different. Here's a link to what I traded for:

Good lookin' scooter Jake, not a lot of miles for a 3 year old.
Not real crazy about that little add on, on top of the windshield.
First impressions after you ride it.
Milwaukee 8 engine, Right? ;)

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

We'll, the wing was a 2008 before they went with the 6th gear. RPM's at 75 were pretty high in 5th gear. The Harley has a sixth gear and more torque in the bottom end . At 75 it's around 28k. Very comfortable on cruise control. The downside is it's heavier in the front end and takes more "heft" to corner. The wing wins cornering hands down but the Harley isn't bad. My gps went out on the wing and the Harley has more going for it like built in Bluetooth, nav, abs, and intercom. Plus buying used the previous owner had put in a lot of "bling" and comfort features. I'm happy with the trade off.
