I love TCM and watched it regularly for years. A few months ago, for who knows what reason, Comcast bundled it into a sports package that I have no interest in paying for.

I couldn't believe it, either. Really pissed me off, too.
Comcast wrote:We look at a variety of factors, including customer viewership and programming costs… Viewership of TCM is low, as over 90% of our customers watch less [sic] than two movies per month. Given this and contractual limitations on offering TCM a la carte, we decided to move TCM to the Sports Entertainment Package, which will help us manage programming costs that are passed on to our customers while continuing to make the channel available to those who want to watch it.

Same deal here. Several channels that used to be in the basic package are now premiums wrapped with other junk.
When you have a monopoly you do what you please! Paying 185 bucks a month and that doesn't include TCM.

Sergeant York, my all time favorite movie. Saw it again just a week or two ago. One of the channels on my Antenna TV played it.

Had to watch it even though we have it on tape. We still have a VCR that works, lol.

Paid TV seems to be getting worse and worse, while Antenna TV (free) seems to be getting better and better. We're getting about 26 Channels now with an Indoor. If I put in an Outdoor, we could probably get about 35. Not perfect though as it doesn't like wind. A windy day means poor reception. For free, we deal with it, although some channels have better reception than others.

We also have Roku (100's of shows also free) and Amazon Prime (free with an Amazon Acct). We would have the Amazon Acct anyway, deals are just too good. TV is just an extra bonus. Reception no problem with either of those.
